Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This AUP outlines the rules and guidelines you must follow while using the [Playbook Connect] platform (“Platform”) provided by Portable Consultants, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This AUP is designed to protect the integrity, security, and availability of the Platform for all users, while ensuring compliance with applicable legal and contractual obligations.

The Platform is intended for business use only, focusing on business infrastructure information, inventory management, and related services. There are three types of users:

  • Category 1 (Licensed Users): Paid users who license the Platform for their own business use or as a white-labeled product for their customers.

  • Category 2 (Customer Portal Users): Customers purchasing circuits, voice services, and other solutions from us, using the Platform as their customer portal.

  • Category 3 (Temporary/Trial Users): Temporary access users participating in trial periods or campaigns, who may convert to Category 1 or 2.

2. Data Protection & Security

You are responsible for ensuring any data entered or stored in the Platform complies with our Privacy Policy at www.portableconsultants.com/privacy applicable data protection laws and regulations, and is free of harmful or unauthorized content.

2.1 Security Obligations

  • Use strong passwords and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • Promptly report any suspicious activity or unauthorized access of your account or the Platform to legal@portableconsultants.com; and

  • Do not attempt, or cause an attempt, to bypass security features, work around any technical limitations, or introduce malicious software into the Platform.

 

2.2 Data Accuracy & Compliance

  • Ensure data entered into the Platform is accurate and complies with applicable laws;

  • Do not use, or cause the use of, the Platform to store or process sensitive personal information (e.g., health data, financial account numbers) unless explicitly authorized by the provider of such information; and

  • We may monitor system usage to ensure compliance with this AUP and prevent misuse.

3. Prohibited Activities

You will, and will cause, compliance with this AUP. To protect the integrity of the Platform, you may not use, or facilitate or allow others to use, the Platform for any of the following activities:

3.1 Illegal or Harmful Activities:

  • Engaging in fraudulent, unlawful, or deceptive practices; or

  • Using the Platform for any activity that violates applicable laws, regulations, or any third-party rights.

 

3.2 Unauthorized Access & Misuse:

  • Accessing or attempting to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization; or

  • Reproducing, duplicating, copying, selling, reselling or exploiting any portion of the Platform, use of the Platform, or access to the Platform without our express written permission.

 

3.3 Disruption & Security Violations:

Introducing viruses, malware, or any software that may disrupt the Platform’s performance; or

Interfering with the Platform’s security, performance, or functionality.

3.4 Misuse of Trial Access:

  • Trial access is for evaluation purposes only and must not be used for production or commercial purposes; and

  • Users exceeding trial limits or violating campaign terms may have their access revoked.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Complying with this AUP;

  • Using the Platform only for authorized business purposes; and

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your data and taking appropriate measures to safeguard it.

 

Category-Specific Guidelines:

  • Category 1 (Licensed Users): Ensure your own compliance and the compliance of any third parties that you authorize to access the Platform.

  • Category 2 (Customer Portal Users): Use the Platform only in connection with the purchased services.

  • Category 3 (Trial Users): Use the Platform solely for evaluation purposes as defined by the marketing campaign.

5. Suspension and Termination of Access

We may investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you violate this AUP or applicable agreements relating to your use of the Platform. You agree to cooperate with us to remedy any violation. Serious or repeated violations may lead to potential legal action and/or immediate termination of your access and use of the Platform without prior notice.

6. Breach Reporting & Incident Response

If you discover or suspect a security breach involving your data or the Platform:

1. Notify us immediately at legal@portableconsultants.com.

2. Provide details of the incident, including the affected data and scope.

3. We will investigate and take appropriate corrective action.

We will notify affected users of any breach that may compromise their data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Changes to This AUP

We may modify this AUP at any time in our sole discretion. The revised version will be posted on our website or communicated to users through the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to the latest version of this AUP.
